About this document
A hold-harmless, or indemnity, agreement is one in which a person (the indemnifier) agrees to protect another (the indemnitee) from claims, losses or costs connected with something they do together: a service, an activity or a transaction such as a rental or a sale.
This builder asks where the activity will occur, which terms to include (liability insurance, protection against the costs of a criminal proceeding, confidentiality, a limit on the amount of protection), whether it is for a service, an activity or a transaction, who the indemnitees and indemnifiers are (up to three of each), and a description of what the parties are doing. You can add your own clauses and say whether witnesses will sign.
The draft does not say what such a protection covers or whether it is enforceable, and what your state allows, for example in construction contracts, is a question for a lawyer. Every amount is one you give.
